Introduction
A rapid market assessment was conducted by ADRA team members during July 2023 in the major markets in four localities in Khartoum namely East Nile (Sharg Alneel), Umdurman, Kerrari and Jabal Aulyia.
The Market Assessments explored two major themes related to markets: 1) access of communities to markets and 2) supply and demand dynamics within the market. Both themes aim at gauging cash based intervention feasibility in the selected locations.
