Mohamed al-Bur Ali, from the Ingessana ethnic group, was arrested in the market of Demazin by military intelligence. He is being held in solitary confinement in the headquarters of the army facing accusations of communicating with the SPLM-N via the internet application WhatsApp.
31/05/2015 Members from military intelligence arrested Aboud Ali al-Nour (22), a member from the Ingessana ethnic group, at his home in Shaheed Afandi in Bao locality. Aboud Ali al-Nour was taken to the army headquarters in Demazin. He is reportedly facing torture and stands accused of being a member of the SPLM-N.

Two females, aged 16 and 19 respectively, from Kassab IDP Camp were attacked and raped by members from a Janjaweed militia as they went to collect firewood.

Members from a Janjaweed militia raped five girls from the village of Um Begi. The girls were ages 12, 14, 17, 19, and 20 respectively.

Five females from Tawila IDP Camp were attacked and severely beaten by members from a Janjaweed unit. Four of whom were left injured on the ground, whilst the fifth, Aisha Mohamed Hussein, was abducted. UNAMID have been informed but no action has been taken.

Five men under the authority of a Janjaweed militia raped two women from Shengel Tobayei as they went to collect fodder for their donkeys. The women were aged 17 and 18 and originally come from Giwaira in East Jebel Marra and Malam respectively.
