Brief by the HC on the presence of partners,

  • The number supported facilities went down from 657 facilities at the end of 2022 to 316 facilities by the month of June 2023. A decline by 52%.

  • “support” and “functionality” are yet to be well understood and defined.

  • The reporting will be updated on monthly bases and any received data after the reports will be added to the next reporting cycle.

  • Planning for cross- border operations from Chad is still ongoing with a lot of details and issues that in need for addressing including the response to the Sudanese refugees in Chad.

  • The response is still facing significant challenges prevent scaling. Most of the encountered challenges are technical and administrative. The near collapse of several national systems, banking system, restricted movements, reduced national capacities to implement are few contributing factors.
