The Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Southern Sudan is distributing seeds and farming equipment to returnees, women, and victims of natural disasters in Jonglei, Warrap, Northern Bahr el Ghazal and Western Equatoria States.
The program Officer of FAO, Joseph Okidi, said the organization is planning to supply 165,000 households with over 2400 metric tones of sorted seeds, and 3500 items of farming equipment such as hoes, axes, sickles and pangas.
