Egypt implements projects in southern Sudan

The Minister of water resources and irrigation at the Government of Southern Sudan Joseph Duer Joakok has announced that the Egyptian government is embarking on implementation of vital projects in South Sudan.

During a press conference held in Juba,Joakok clarified that the Egyptian delegation headed by the minister of water resources and irrigation Mohammed Nasr El Din has met with the president of the Government of South Sudan Salva Kiir Mayardit.

Pointing out, the agreed upon projects include, installation of gagging stations along the Nile, constructions of landing sites and studies for the potential construction of micro-dams.
