Between 25 October 2025 and 22 February 2026, an estimated 132,693 individuals displaced from the Kordofan region were recorded across 678 locations in 79 localities and 13 states in Sudan.
- DTM field teams reported 85 incidents triggering displacement across South Kordofan (64 incidents), North Kordofan (19 incidents) and West Kordofan (2 incidents), between 25 October 2025 and 22 February 2026.
- The majority of IDPs displaced from the Kordofan region were recorded in North Kordofan (30,605 IDPs), Khartoum (27,264 IDPs), White Nile (23,405 IDPs), and South Kordofan (15,430 IDPs).
- Within North Kordofan, most IDPs were recorded across Sheikan (16,715 IDPs) and Ar Rahad (9,280 IDPs) localities. Within Khartoum, IDPs were primarily recorded in Um Durman (8,900 IDPs), Karrari (8,554 IDPs), and Um Bada (6,990 IDPs) localities. Within White Nile, IDPs were primarily recorded across Kosti (12,111 IDPs), and within South Kordofan, IDPs were primarily recorded in Habila (3,010 IDPs), Al Quoz (3,005 IDPs), and Abassiya (3,000 IDPs) localities.
