On 11 February 2025, an estimated 709 households were displaced from various villages across Um Rawaba locality, North Kordofan. The displacement reportedly occurred due to increased security concerns across the locality. Households were reportedly displaced from Gedadem, Um Dabaker, Um Gaziera, Al Darota, Al Kadadah, Alrigila Alsoug, and Alrigila Abdallah villages to other locations within Um Rawaba locality, North Kordofan.
