On 6 February 2025, field teams estimated that 355 households were displaced from villages surrounding Um Rawaba Town, Um Rawaba locality in North Kordofan due to increased security concerns. The displacement occurred from Abu Hamra Al Qouz, Abu Hamra Al Mahta, Arsh Alywi Alniyl, Arsh Alywi Al Gada, and Um Baashim villages.
Field teams reported that households were primarily displaced to other locations within Um Rawaba locality, North Kordofan, as well as to localities in White Nile state. The situation remains tense and unpredictable. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide regular updates on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
