Between 19 and 28 May 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 1,946 households were displaced from Al Salha area in Um Durman locality, Khartoum due to clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The majority of households were displaced to other locations within Um Durman locality, while others were displaced to locations across Karrari locality, Khartoum. The situation remains tense and highly fluid with ongoing displacement. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
