On 12 September 2025, heavy rain and floods across Major 6 village in Um Algura locality, Aj Jazirah displaced approximately 4,250 individuals (850 households). Field teams reported that 550 houses were destroyed. Displaced individuals reportedly sought shelter in open areas within the same locality.
