On 25 April 2025, a fire in Hamouda and Eiyal Amin villages of At Tawisha locality, North Darfur reportedly destroyed 90 houses. Field teams reported that all households were displaced to other locations within At Tawisha locality. The cause of the fire has not been confirmed. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
