On 17 May 2025, a fire in Um Gem Gem village in Kelemando locality, North Darfur displaced approximately 38 households. Households were primarily displaced to locations in Kelemando locality. Approximately 38 houses were destroyed.The cause of the fire was not confirmed**.** DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
