DTM Sudan Flash Alert: Conflict in Tendalti (Rejil Zaghawa Village), White Nile (Update 001): 10 December 2024

On 7 December 2024, an estimated 165 households were displaced from Rejil Zaghawa village in Tendalti locality, White Nile. The displacement reportedly occurred due to attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Displaced households primarily sought shelter in locations within Tendalti locality. There were also reports of deaths and injuries among civilians, along with the burning and looting of commercial and personal property. The situation remains tense and unpredictable. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide regular updates on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
