On 15 May 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 318 households were displaced from Um Dahalib area in Ghadeer locality, South Kordofan due to clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Sudanese People Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). Households were primarily displaced to locations across Ghadeer and Abu Jubayhah localities, South Kordofan. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
