On 23 May 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 565 households were displaced from Dibebad town in Al Quoz locality, South Kordofan due to clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Households were primarily displaced to locations across Al Quoz, Abu Zabad, and As Salam localities in South Kordofan. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
