On 13 May 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 358 households were displaced from Al Khiwai town of Al Khiwai locality, West Kordofan due to clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Households were primarily displaced to locations within Al Khiwai locality, West Kordofan. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan. The latest DTM Sudan report is available here.
