On 5 February 2025, an estimated 481 households were displaced from various villages across Al Fasher locality, North Darfur. The displacement reportedly occurred due to increased security concerns across the locality. Households were reportedly displaced from Shagra A, Shagra B, and Shagra C villages to other locations within Al Fasher, as well as to Dar As Salam and Al Lait localities, North Darfur. The situation remains tense and unpredictable. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide regular updates on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
