Between 26 and 29 June 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 3,260 households were displaced from several villages across Bara locality, North Kordofan due to increased insecurity. The affected locations included Um Garfa, Al Dakhla, Slimi, Um Sgiaon, Ratabt, Naziha, Samnia, Hilat Hamad, Mangra, Um Trakish, Haboia, and Al Markha villages. Households were reportedly displaced to locations across Sheikan and Um Dam Haj Ahmed localities in North Kordofan, Abassiya locality in South Kordofan, Tendalti and Kosti localities in White Nile, and to Um Durman locality in Khartoum. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
