Between 4 and 9 July 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 700 households were displaced from several locations across Bara town in Bara locality, North Kordofan due to heightened insecurity. Households were reportedly displaced from Hai Alganobi, Hai Algoz, Hai Alsog, Hai Algarbi , Hai Alrkabia, and Hai Algadid neighbourhoods. Households were reportedly displaced to locations across Sheikan locality in North Kordofan, Ad Diwaim locality in White Nile, and to Um Durman locality in Khartoum. The situation remains tense and highly fluid. DTM will continue to monitor the developments closely and will provide further information on displacement and population mobility across Sudan.
