On 12 April 2025, DTM field teams estimated that 124 households were displaced from Ambir village in Abu Kershola locality, South Kordofan due to heightened insecurity. Households were displaced to other locations within Abu Kershola locality and to locations across Ar Rahad locality in North Kordofan. The situation remains tense and unpredictable.
