Clash between army and PDF kills five in Darfur

MERSHING (23 Nov.) - At least five people were killed and 25 others wounded, including citizens, on Thursday in Mershing locality in South Darfur.

An army soldier refused to pay the amount for shaving his head to a barber shop, belonging to a member of the Popular Defense Forces (PDF). The barber sent three gunmen on motorcycles behind him.

They killed him as they opened fire on an army troop, which led to the clash between the Sudanese army troops and the PDF troops. Two soldiers, two men of the PDF and one citizen were killed.
