AbuShoukCamp, locally itisknownas “NaivashaCamp.” Itoccupies approximately 12 square kilometres, just 2.5 km away from the north-western corner of Al Fashertown. The camp counts 40 blocks sub-divisions,. The majority the camp residents are displaced from Kutum, Tawilah, Tarni, Dubbo, Rokro, Jebel Si, Korma, Jadara, Fatta Barno, and the rural areas of Al Fāsher (Sarafāyah, Birka and Abu Dilig),duringtheconflictof2003to2004inDarfur.
