This country‑wide assessment, coordinated by the Shelter, Land, and Site Coordination Sector, was conducted between 27 January and 10 February 2026 through phone and in‑person interviews with Grama Niladari officials and safety center focal points. The report captures living conditions in safety centers, reviews closed sites and their prior use, examines site management practices, and highlights service gaps. Findings point to urgent needs in non‑food items, site repairs, food provision, privacy, health, and WASH services, offering a clear snapshot of priorities for humanitarian partners and authorities.
