A medical clinic was held in the office of the Civil Coordinating Officer in Athchuveli on Sunday (06) for benefit of the people in the area and those in Nelliodai, Patthmeni, Avarankal, Kopay and Puttur.
The Army organized the clinic considering the humanitarian needs of the people who could not meet their medical bills. Meals and refreshments as well as medical treatment including medicine was provided free of charge. The medical teams which attended on the patients were experienced Army Medical Officers and staff and was a success as over 500 patients attended.
All those who attended the clinic thanked the Army and all officers who attended on them and provided medicine.
