MULLAITIVU [ACTED News] – ACTED has successfully launched a Service Providers Handbook for Mullaitivu District, Northern Sri Lanka. Mullaitivu was one of the worst-affected districts in Sri Lanka’s 26 year conflict and the launch of the handbook is a ‘next step’ in the rehabilitation of local services. Due to the conflict and displacement, many communities do not know what services are available and how to access them. Funded by the European Union, the handbook includes an overview and contact details of all government ministries and departments, UN organisations, INGOs and NGOs at national, district and local level and available training and services
