HIGHLIGHTS

• Overall, WFP distributed 6,738 mt of food and USD 3 million in cash-based transfers to 0.8 million people2 across various programme activities, representing 77 percent of the people targeted in November. Between January and November, WFP assisted 4 million people.2
• As of 30 November, WFP’s Famine Prevention Response continued, assisting 189,000 people across seven targeted counties, representing 47 percent of the target.
• As of 30 November, WFP had assisted 1.18 million new arrivals with 24,973 mt of food and USD 36.2 million in cash-based transfers under the Sudan crisis since April 2023.
• WFP faces a USD 384 million funding shortfall in 2026. Critical needs include prepositioning before the start of the rainy season in May, food and nutrition requirements of crisis-affected people and other logistical support services.
