South Sudan: Mobility Tracking Round 16 - Initial Data Release

This report presents findings from Round 16 of the Mobility Tracking exercise, conducted by the International Organization for Migration’s (IOM) Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) across South Sudan, through key-informant assessments at location-level between December 2024 and February 2025. Mobility Tracking estimates the presence of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and returnees in South Sudan in displacement sites and host communities. IOM DTM mapped a total of 1,992,513 IDPs, of whom 13 per cent were previously abroad, and 2,963,408 returnees, including 38 per cent returnees from abroad, in 4,074 locations across the 10 States in South Sudan.
