Flooding from extreme rain affected many communities across the County, causing damages to crops, households’ latrines, water drinking facilities, foods, chickens, goats and others domestic animals and displaced communities in Longechuk County.
The total households affected by flooding in greater Longechuk county is 643 and the breakdown per Payam as shown below:

• Mathiang Payam-331 households (Rialbek, Palkach, Pechweng, New site,
Matar, Mathiang and Palang A bomas)

• Udier Payam-135 households (Waken, Tuel,Borbar, Thoarwal and old udier villages)

• Jangok Payam_30households (Jangok center,Nyanthon & Tochwengthok)

• Pamach Payam_ 25 households (Rokonye, Wechlew and Panomdeguer villages)

• Dajo Payam_34 households (Pachimbi, Wichlita,Wechinbor & Pawula villages)

• Warweng Payam_15householda (Mukley & Wunkir villages)

• Malual and Jongjith Payams_45 households(Majiok,Burwut and Dalerow villages)

• Belwang Payam_28 households (Belwang Center and Riang villages)
