Highlights

• Completeness for weekly reporting was 48% IDSR sites and 82% for the IDP sites.

• Malaria remains the leading cause of morbidity in nonconflict areas while ARI is the leading cause of morbidity in the IDPs.

• A total of 22 new suspect measles cases were reported from Gogrial East; Wau IDPs, and Juba in week 8.

• Cholera confirmed in Malakal Town after one of two samples tested positive for cholera by culturing.

• Two suspected meningitis cases reported from the MSF-H hospital in Bentiu PoC.

• Complications of TB/HIV/AIDs and severe pneumonia were the leading causes of mortality in IDPs sites during the week.
