Key highlights

Enhancing Health Access and Strengthening Responsiveness:

• From January to December 2025, over 3 million outpatient consultations were delivered as part of essential health services.

• During the reporting period, a cumulative total of over 40,630 normal deliveries were supported by skilled birth attendants.

Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Epidemic Prone Disease Outbreaks:

• Cumulatively, as of December 2025, 97,292 suspected cholera cases and 1,600 deaths were reported across 55 counties in 9 states including 3 administrative areas, with a 1.6% CFR.

• During the same period, oral cholera vaccination campaigns were completed in 46 counties, reaching 8.6 million people with 84.7% coverage.

• A total of 38 confirmed M-Pox cases reported in Juba, Malakal Rumbek Centre and East, with no associated deaths. A total of 505 suspected Mpox cases have been recorded.

• A total of 225,281 malaria cases were reported in December 2025, with persistently high weekly incidence. Weekly malaria morbidity continue to ranged from 76,000 to 107,000 cases, with a weekly average of 99,000 cases.

Providing Quality Essential Clinical Health Services:

• As of December 2025, stabilization centres managed and treated over 5,178 children presenting with complicated severe acute malnutrition.

• During the same period, one survivor of sexual and genderbased violence received clinical management of rape services. Improving Resilience – Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MPHSS)

• As of December 2025, approximately 1,073 individuals received mental health and psychosocial support services.
