Key highlights
Enhancing Health Access and Strengthening Responsiveness:
• From January to November 2025, over 2.7 million outpatient consultations were delivered as part of essential health services.
• During this period, over 35,856 normal deliveries were supported by skilled birth attendants. Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Epidemic Prone Disease Outbreaks:
• As of November 2025, a total of 95,217 suspected cholera cases, including 1,591 deaths, were reported from 55 counties across 9 states and 3 administrative areas (Ruweng, Greater Pibor and Abyei), with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 1.7%.
• During the same period, oral cholera vaccination campaigns were completed in 46 counties, reaching 8.6 million people with 84.7% coverage.
• A total of 35 confirmed M-Pox cases in Juba, Malakal Rumbek Centre and East. No associated deaths, as of November, a total of 486 suspected Mpox cases have been recorded.
• A total of 897,402 malaria cases were reported between October and November 2025, with persistently high weekly incidence. Weekly malaria morbidity ranged from 76,000 to 107,000 cases, with a weekly average of 99,000 cases.
Providing Quality Essential Clinical Health Services:
• Between October and November 2025, stabilization centres managed and treated over 7,000 children presenting with complicated severe acute malnutrition.
• During the same period, around 9 survivors of sexual and gender-based violence received clinical management of rape services.
Improving Resilience – Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MPHSS)
• As of November 2025, approximately 1,208 individuals received mental health and psychosocial support services.
