Enhancing Health Access and Strengthening Responsiveness:

• Between January and February 2024, 782 459 outpatient consultations were conducted for essential health services.

• During the same period, skilled birth attendants assisted over 9 687 normal deliveries.

Preventing, Detecting and Responding to Epidemic Prone Disease Outbreaks:

• As of 25 March 2024, cumulatively total of 104 Yellow Fever cases (101 suspected and 3 confirmed) were reported from six counties in Western Equatoria state.

• Thirteen suspected meningitis cases were reported in two counties in Jonglei State and ten in Twic County in Warrap State.

• Seven confirmed circulating vaccine derived Polio Type 2 (cVDPV2) from Acute Flaccid Paralysis (AFP) cases identified.

• The first round of cVDPV2 vaccination campaign that ended on 12 March achieved 103 per cent coverage (3 098 613).

Providing Quality Essential Clinical Health Services:

• Between January and February 2024, stabilization centers have treated 509 children with severe acute malnutrition and complications.

• During the same period, around 39 survivors of sexual and gender-based violence received clinical management of rape services.

Improving Resilience- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MPHSS):

• About 2 552 people in conflict affected areas received MPHSS services in January 2024.
