Enhancing Health Access and Strengthening Responsiveness:

• From January to April 2025, 1 Million outpatient consultations were provided for essential health services.

• During this period, skilled birth attendants supported about 15,000 normal deliveries. Preventing,

Detecting and Responding to Epidemic Prone Disease Outbreaks:

• As of 31 May 2025, a total of 67,927 suspected cholera cases and 1,310 deaths reported with a case fatality rate (CFR) of 1.9%, from 52 counties across 9 states and 2 administrative areas (Ruweng and Greater Pibor) .

• In the same duration, Oral cholera vaccination (OCV) campaigns have been completed in 34 counties, reaching 6.4 million people with 73.1% coverage.

• A total of 14 confirmed M-Pox cases and no deaths reported from Juba and Malakal with 252 suspected Mpox cases have been recorded as of May 2025.

• Over 1.4 million malaria cases reported by 31 May 2025, with high weekly incidence and up to 32% outpatient burden, indicating intense transmission and urgent need for enhanced surveillance, treatment, and vector control measures.

Providing Quality Essential Clinical Health Services:

• Between January and April 2025, stabilization centers treated over 1900 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition with complications.

• During the same period, around 19 survivors of sexual and gender-based violence received clinical management of rape services.

Improving Resilience – Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MPHSS)

• As of March 2025, approximately 9,500 individuals received mental health and psychosocial support services.
