As the conflict in South Sudan persists, refugees continue to cross the border into neighbouring countries. Since mid-December, more than 290,000 South Sudanese have arrived in Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.
To adequately respond to the evolving situation, a regional inter-agency contingency planning meeting will be held in Nairobi on 29-30 April.
WFP requires USD 64 million for the next six months to assist all refugees in Uganda,
Kenya, Ethiopia and Sudan.
