RESPONSE SCALES UP IN CONFLICT-AFFECTED AREAS
Since January 2014, 1.1 million people across South Sudan have received some form of assistance. To speed up the response to people displaced by violence, aid organizations launched a rapid response mechanism to deploy mobile teams to deliver multi-sector assistance to people in remote locations in Jonglei, Unity and Upper Nile states. This comes on top of the ongoing response to displaced and other vulnerable communities around the country.
