OVERVIEW
Many organizations are actively addressing important needs like food insecurity, constrained health services, overstretched WASH facilities, and other areas of humanitarian service delivery. Their efforts are having a noticeable impact. In the Renk Transit Centers, the steps being taken are key to maintaining a fair standard of living for refugees and returnees.
Some obstacles still exist in Renk. The majority of the general feedback gathered from refugees and returnees in Renk is still dominated by worries about challenges in the biometric registration processes, health, protection, WASH, and food. Concerns continue to be raised about inadequate documentation for children who have been separated and the need for improved crowd control at water points. The cholera threat and living conditions make these issues more difficult, and they call for immediate improvements in sanitation and hygiene standards. In light of these challenges, coordinated efforts are underway to improve the general living conditions for the refugees and returnees.
