Country Director’s message

ForAfrika South Sudan launched its programmes in 2022 aimed at enhancing the well-being of 1,812,886 vulnerable individuals consisting of women, men, girls, and boys. Our strategy has been tailored towards helping underprivileged persons in communities where we operate with a focus on areas such as economic empowerment, education, food security, health and nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH).

By prioritising these areas, we can positively impact the lives of children and their families.
As Africans working collaboratively for Africa, we are committed to investing our resources where they can have the most significant influence on people’s welfare and achieving our vision of an Africa that thrives.
Our method involves three pillars which are: saving lives, promoting early recovery, and promoting community resilience. Even when we respond to crises, we remain committed to investing in adaptable skills to guarantee that there is a transition toward long-term revitalization and resilience.

After nearly two years of research, and speaking to our donors, our staff, and the people we serve, we transitioned into the new year with a new brand name ForAfrika. Because we are Africans working together for Africa, we needed our name to reflect who we are and what we do.

We will continue to offer the same humanitarian assistance, while we partner with communities and governments to ensure they take a lead in South Sudan’s transformational development.
