The conflict in South Sudan deepened with close to half a million people displaced by violence over the past month.
Active hostilities centred largely in Central Equatoria, Jonglei, Unity and Upper Nile states, with the largest groups of displaced people fleeing in Jonglei and Lakes state.
Another 83,900 have crossed into neighbouring countries
