The Refugees are fleeing conflict between DR Congo government forces and M23 rebels in eastern part of the country.

Meanwhile, the Country Representative of UNHCR in South Sudan, Mireille Girard says that UNHCR is prepared to help the refugees.

Girard says that they are working together with UNHCR in DR Congo to estimate a total number of refugees expected to enter into South Sudan.

“So far it is a very limited number; it is not a large number, so there is no reason to panic either”, Mireille Girard said to Radio Miraya. She added that UNHCR is planning to move the refugees to Lasu Refugee Camp.
