More than 600,000 Congolese refugees are suffering from hunger in Morobo County, Central Equatoria State, the county commissioner said.

Moses Simon Sworo, said that most of the refugees are risking their lives by crossing back into Congo, where they escaped deadly violence, in search of food. Sworo, told Radio Miraya that there is an outbreak of diarhrea among the refugees. The refugees reportedly entered Morobo County last week, fleeing rebel fighting in Eastern Congo.
