Situation overview

The humanitarian response to people affected by recent inter-communal violence and armed hostilities in Pibor County continued. Partners are mobilizing three additional helicopters to strengthen air assets capacity for the Jonglei operation. Roads across the country, especially in Jonglei, Unity and Upper Nile states are fast becoming inaccessible as rains continue. In Lakes State, livelihood partners stepped up efforts to deliver seeds and tools to assist communities grow their own food over the rainy season.
