14 children that were missing in Elfog air raid found

The United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has said that 14 children that were missing during last Tuesday's air raid on a refugee transit camp in Upper Nile State have been found.

A statement from the UNHCR says that UNHCR protection officers held focus group discussions with refugee women at the site and were able to confirm that all the children that were missing were found.

Earlier on Tuesday UNHCR said that Elfog Refugee transit camp, a home to more than 50 thousands Sudanese refugees was bombarded several times injuring one child and leaving several missing.

The local authorities blamed the strike on the Sudan Armed Forces but the later denied the claim.
