This is a remarkable feat of giving in these times of austerity and more and more people are organising local fundraising events. It’s also timely as today is World Humanitarian Day, a day which recognises the sacrifices and contributions of those who risk their lives to give others help and hope.

Donations to the appeal help to reduce starvation, increase medical treatment and relieve suffering of those in dire need in countries afflicted by the drought and famine. If you’re interested in getting organised take a look at our fundraising events page for ideas and materials.
