SRHie-MISP-OVERVIEW

  • The Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) is a coordinated set of lifesaving priority SRH activities and services to be implemented at the onset (within 48 hours whenever possible) of every humanitarian emergency.

  • The MISP is developed by the Inter-Agency Working Group for Reproductive Health in Crisis (IAWG). UNFPA, in partnership with the Government, partners/stakeholders, supports the implementation of the MISP to make sure that all affected populations have access to lifesaving SRH services.

  • MISP is not optional/ negotiable! An international standard of care that should be implemented at the onset of every emergency.
