Male (46%) Female (54%) Age Group A joint IDP site verification exercise was conducted in Kismayo town and environs in May and June 2023. T-he operation was led by JUCRI, IOM, Alight, WRRS, SEDHURO, ACTED, DRC, MOHADM, Mercy Corps, SGJ, SEA, NRC, CARE, SADO, Save the Children and UNHCR . 170 IDP sites were identified hosting 24,309 households or 145,225 individuals. Compared to the last site verification conducted in Dec 2022, there was a decrease of 5 IDP sites, 323 Households or 463 individuals.
