Loop received a total of 163,408 calls, 12,451 were published after moderation. Published feedback surged from 510 in January to 5,314 in December, marking over 942% growth by year end.

Requests for assistance increased commensurate with the slow onset drought, primarily from Lower Shabelle. Feedback related to livelihoods and education for host communities and food security, cash and WASH for displaced people. Internal displacement was the most frequently reported vulnerability factor.

Feedback was submitted in Maxatiri, and Maay, Bajuni, Benadiri, Barawani, and Kizigua.

2% of all feedback came from persons living with disabilities and more from their people caring or advocating for them.

Loop handled 1,142 sensitive cases in 2025, with quarterly figures rising from 174 in Q1 to a peak of 351 in Q3.

Protection-related reports represented the largest share (525 cases), alongside service-level complaints (281), 121 allegations of fraud, corruption, or aid diversion. Notably, 93% of sensitive reports were submitted directly by individuals, increasing from 87% in Q1 to 96% in Q4, demonstrating growing confidence in Loop as a safe and independent reporting channel. Women and girls accounted for 61% of all sensitive reports. 10% of sensitive feedback was submitted by individuals from minority and marginalised communities, a much larger proportion than open feedback, suggesting heightened risks from this population which is often excluded from formal reporting systems.

Over the year, Loop made 311 referrals to partner organisations, of which 68% were successfully followed up to confirm outcomes. With pride we can report that 99% of individuals who reported sensitive issues via Loop and could be reached were satisfied with Loop’s case handling, and 84% expressed satisfaction with the response or service provided by the referred organisations.

At the system level, Loop accounted for 67% of all sensitive reports submitted to the inter-agency CFM aggregator in Q2 and 92% in Q3, including all SEA reports for the year.

In summary, the investment is working, communities trust Loop for its accessibility, independence and anonymous options.
