The Logistics Cluster continued to enable humanitarian access and the delivery of essential relief items to floodaffected and hard-to-reach areas across Hirshabelle, Jubaland, Galmudug, and Southwest states.
In May, a total of 118.86 metric tons (318.16 m³) of critical humanitarian cargo was airlifted to eight priority locations, supporting operations of nine partner organizations. The relief items included WASH, Health, Nutrition, Education, and Shelter/NFI supplies. 21 Flights rotation originated primarily from Mogadishu, delivered humanitarian cargo reaching the following destinations: Beletweyne, Baardheere, Hudur, Elbarde, Baidoa, Jowhar, Dhusamareeb.
This air operation ensured the continued delivery of life-saving assistance in areas where road access remains severely constrained by insecurity, inadequate infrastructure, and seasonal floods.
