The revised Somalia Consolidated Appeal (CAP) had received US$484.25 million (42 per cent) of the requested $1.15 billion by the end October 2013. This includes $29.28 million carry-over from 2012.
Funding per cluster remains low ranging between 22 per cent and 45 per cent. Additional funding is required to ensure continued implementation of life-saving activities and support the livelihoods recovery for 870,000 people in crisis and emergency, and 2.3 million people in stress phase.
