Highlights
• A total of 390 (87%) health facilities across Somalia submitted weekly report in week 47.
• A total of 9,674 alerts of which 62 were confirmed as true were received in week 47.
• Cholera alerts were received in Banadir regions in IDPs were confirmed as positive for cholera.
• Oral cholera vaccine campaign has been launched on 19th Nov, 2018 in Banadir (Kahda & Daynile districts) and lower Shabelle region (Arbis & Elasha villages). while MARDO Local NGO started on 17 November, 2028 for five villages in Huddur district ( Gumurre, Wanay, Quracle,
Abdielow and Tuboy) report will soon be submitted.

The completeness rate of reporting in all states was 87% (table 1) and the timeliness was also 87% for all regions
