Coordination & information management

• CCCM Cluster Partners, CESDO, IOM, and SCC reported 17 district-level coordination meetings across Baidoa, Banadir, Berdale, Cabudwaaq, Cadaado, Doolow, Galkacyo,
Kahda, Kismaayo, Luuq & Xuduur. These included meetings with government representatives, humanitarian organizations, and IDP representatives to strengthen interagency coordination.

• UNHCR/CCCM organized 23 area-level and site-level coordination meetings in Cadaado, Dhusamareeb and Galkayo bringing together stakeholders such as government representatives, Camp Management Committees (CMCs), humanitarian organizations, and community leaders to discuss issues impacting IDPs, share updates, and improve coordination and service delivery in IDP sites.

• NoFYL and IOM conducted two rapid needs assessments (RNA) in Baardheere and Banadir. UNHCR Hargeisa jointly with NRC carried out a rapid needs assessment and registration for communities who have recently been displaced due to conflict in the Sanaag region, particularly in Erigavo. UNHCR supported 1,200 most vulnerable IDPs with cash-based assistance to prevent loss of life.

• ACTED held area-level coordination meetings in several catchments located in Baidoa,
Khada/Benadir and Kismayo, involving service providers, local authorities, and community structures (100 participants). Building on settlement-level findings, the discussions focused on health, nutrition, protection, WASH, and food security in IDP sites. Affected communities requested improved collaboration to address their needs effectively.
